The Golden Geniza of Ezkali includes "The Story of Ezkali" (pp. 5-6), which the GM must modify and distribute to different players, depending on the version of the legend they have heard. As a time-saver, this game aid automatically generates random versions of "The Story of Ezkali." Simply choose which type of legend you want – bold or unbold – then reload the page for a new random printable iteration each time. (Alternatively, you can copy and paste the text from the random page to any word-formatting method you like.)
You might give the bold version to the player of a bard, wizard, or other lore-minded hero . . . then distribute the unbold version to the rest of the players. This provides the intellectual hero with a chance to shine and make his companions' lives easier. Before passing out printouts to the players, make sure you know which technique from p. 5 you're using – and don't forget to record the information you need! |
