Cyberpunk Lifepath and Fast & Dirty Expendable Programs
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These programs were initially written in 1997 and maintained through
most of 1998 by Mark A. Hassman. After receiving many requests for the
source code, the entire work was placed into the public domain under the
GNU General Public License (see copyright.h or LICENSE for more
information in December 1998. What this basically means is the source
code is freely available and can be modified or distributed by anyone
under the terms of the license.

Originally, this program was designed with the cgic C library by
Boutell.com. That library is NOT distributed with this package. If
you wish to use the cgic C library, you may download a version at
http://www.boutell.com and agree to the licensing agreement for that
package.

Since the cgic library is not included and the program was designed
for said library, this package will not compile 'out of the box'. You
will need to modify the source in order to handle form data if you
intend to place the program on a web site or rewrite sections of the
code to interface with the output of your choice.

Also, the source files are not well commented and this isn't the
cleanest code in the world. I never expected the utilites to be
overly popular and basically put them on the web for my use. I
would appreciate knowing of any bugs, problems, or enhancements you
make. If additional versions are created, I will archive them as
I recieve copies and make them available from the original website.

  Thanks for your interest,
