COMMENTS:
First proper attempt at taping in a while, my microphone broke a few
months ago and I had to get a replacement. I think this recording
turned out astoundingly well. As you can see from the photos I was on
the left side of the venue (stage right) and had the mic pointed
directly at a speaker stack for the whole show. This recording didn't
need much of anything to sound like the best tape I've ever done up
to this point.

Now that I've heard the music I can comment on it...wow, just wow.
I've listened to so many live recordings of this band from the 2010s
but getting to hear this kind of music in person was on a whole new level
of crazy. They did a good amount of tracks from The Beggar and most
of them were completely different from the album versions in all the
right ways. Even with earplugs these guys made my whole body
vibrate. I can only imagine what it felt like if you were one of the
crazy people right up front. I really hope people will continue to tape
this tour, and I'm excited to finally be able to allow myself to listen
to what we have so far. Enjoy!
