Xiu Xiu opened up and played a very intense solo set.  Swans took the stage and respectfully waited for the Johnny Cash song to finish before they started their set.  What followed was 2 hours and 10 minutes of ferocious, powerful, pummeling rock music.  At the beginning of Avatar Michael Gira took a little time to adjust the various band members through verbal instructions before the sound was to his liking.  During She Loves Us Phil Puleo had a little difficulty placing some accents.  Other than those two examples the band was incredibly tight and played excellently.  The last two songs saw MG reaching the limits of the PA, as the vocal signal drops out in some of the loudest sections.
